Job Purpose
As part of the Inhouse Sales Team, initiate sales activities in the country considering the different sales channels based on the analysis and evaluation of market-specific data. Identify opportunities and threats in sales (existing business, new business, online, groups) and will support in driving all processes at the organization. Account management activities jointly with Sales Executives and Sales Managers based on analysis and evaluation of customer portfolios and commercial priorities. The post holder will enable the Sales Executive and Sales Manager to optimize sales activities by steering visits, preparing sales presentations and managing an array of administrative and supportive tasks including, but not limited to, Pricing co-ordination/filing, Groups handling, Inquiries of travel trade, commercial events and trade communication.
Job Purpose:
Regular analysis and evaluation of station’s sales performance using CBI and any other available tools, and provide to Sales Manager on a regular basis.
Contract management, including the continuous update of the incentives contracts and their monthly statements , and preparing and monitoring the performance of joint marketing contracts. Ensure flow of information to all relevant departments in comprehensive preparation of contracts and statements. Send proposals to Pricing department after co-ordination with the sales team.
Organize Sales events, both B2B and B2C as guided by the Sales Manager.
Ensuring that all CRM data are properly included and continuously updated in Salesforce.com, as well as the update of the distribution lists.
Ensuring seamless flow of information, steering advising and supporting all relevant departments (interface between sales, corporate communications, pricing and finance).
Manage the administration and investigations of ADM's, ACM's and other related revenue accounting queries. Advise relevant line Sales Managers of travel agents undertaking incorrect tickets or fares construction practices.
Action group requests and other inquiries from travel agents and other channels, and provide regular reports to Sales Manager on Opportunities, Materialization, Group rejections? and Lost business.
Send necessary communication and announcements to the travel trade in line with the commercial requirements as advised by the Sales Manager.
Keep up-to-date with all technical developments, regarding reporting tools and continuous coordination of monitoring, analysis, development and adjustment of EK reports, tools and workflows.
Assist Sales Manager with yearly planning and budgeting process (incentive planning / forecasting / monitoring) and market specific and ad-hoc reporting for Area Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or Honours (12+ 3 or equivalent) preferable in Economics or Travel with experience in the Travel Industry
Experience:
Commercial/Sales: 3 + years
Knowledge & Skills:
Thorough knowledge of Emirates Group's products and services
Good knowledge of travel agency business or Travel consultancy
Good planning and organisational skills
Computer literacy - Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel
Excellent team management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
