Position Purpose? Provide analytical and project management support toward the goal of improving Northwest Airlines travel agency and corporate sales throughout the Asia Pacific region. Develop and implement standard and adhoc reports that allow sales and management to track results and make better strategic decisions. Represent the Asia Pacific on various projects implemented in an effort to streamline processes.?
Position Responsibilities ?・ Work with sales teams to determine ongoing reporting needs to help better manage travel agency and corporate accounts. Pull data and compile it into user friendly reports for sales team or agency/corporation as the end user. Determine the most effective/efficient way to provide reports to sales team and implement the reports.
・ Responsible for adhoc presentations, incorporating key data to share results or justify future direction.?
・ Responsible for various reports and analytical projects to support sales teams and management; gather and perform spreadsheet analysis and reporting; identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity through exception reporting and coordinated follow-up.
・ Participate in key projects representing Asia Pacific sales; Primary contact working with IS to develop requirements to streamline Asia Pacific processes and enhance reporting tools.
Required Skill & Knowledge? (1) BA/BS degree required.?
(2) Two plus years airline experience preferred.?
(3) Strong proficiency in verbal and written English and Japanese required.
(4) High proficiency in Excel with a solid understanding of available data sources and uses.?
(5) Ability to use quantitative skills to analyze complicated data and interpret results.
(6) Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects, including IS projects, working with key contacts at Northwest headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, USA.?
